Hi anyone got any ideas or previous experience on this before I take it to the garage??

This has happended occasionally in the last 2 weeks, but mainly after the car has not been started for more than 24 hours.

When I start up the car, it sounds like one of the cylinders is not firing up and is very lumpy, there is also what sounds like a rachety noise coming from the engine that increases when the engine is reved. After about 20 to 30 seconds the engine clears up and runs fine. I have just taken the car on a long drive down to Italy about 3000 miles in total, the oil and coolant was kept topped up throughout and is all OK now, this only started after I got back to the UK. Not quite sure what it is, though it sounds worrying (and potentially expensive).... any ideas will be much appreciated!
