the wiring for the lambda is correct, if it is incorrect then the LPG system will deliver too much fuel and so damage the Catalytic convertor....

This is the voice of experience talking, i had a system professionally fitted, they wired the lambda pickup into the a feed that gave a signal that encouraged the LPG to overfuel as the revs rose...

if an LPG kit has been fitted and is working then it should actually cause less damage than petrol, LPG have less additives, so the oil stays cleaner for longer.
I have fitted a few kits since, they are easy to fit and i am really surprised that there hasn't been greater uptake of this fuel

If the LPG was injecting too much fuel to your engine you should notice that it consumed more...At least thats what I think, and mine is more a less the same, so everything should be fine...

And my lambda sensor is at the most 15000km old...
