Hi all, this is the best forum I have found for alfa's.

I would like to lower my wifes GT a bit as there is a large gap between tyres and wheel arches, however I want to keep the ride as comfortable as possible.

I was thinking of using eibach springs (25mm drop) with the O.E dampers, has anyone on the forum tried this?

There is a mammoth thread on the forums which started with someone trying H&R springs with O.E dampers but I dont want to go that low (35mm).

Also does anyone know of an Alfa specialist in the Manchester area, have been looking but found no one :(

Hi Timb, welcome to AO :D

I can't help with the lowering questions, but if you don't mind a bit of a drive to see a good specialist Alfie at Heath Road garage in Sandbach is very well priced and knows his Alfas inside out. Shouldn't take you much more than 45 minutes from central Manchester to get there, and Sandbach is a nice little town to wander round and get a coffee from while your car's being fettled.
