:D

just had a look at the 33 tank from the 16V, thought that the inlet pipes were a bigger size for the injected cars than the sud tanks

measured about the same size as the sud pipe, about 50mm

also found a knackered bush on the engine stabiliser on the 156. can buy a complete new arm for about ÂŁ35 but i'm trying to find a couple of new bushes, anyone know where they can be found?

annoying things is i know i threw away a bar fairly recently from another car, most likely from the 145 projcet. different shape of arm but i am sure the bushes are the same size so could be pressed out, are the same size on my 147 anyway

i HATE tidying up and throwing stuff away

needed a suitable spacer the other day when fitting the towbar, to refit the heat-shield back on. an old core plug from the sud 16V engine rebuild was perfect

i'll have to see to that sometime buddy,

bout ready for a sesh actually, how you fixed?

if you come over saturday night after the linc's meet, we could have a few bevvies local/newark, find some gypsie to quarrel with, a quick kebab, before crashing back at mine, where you can indulge yourself in the luxury that is 1983's caravan of the year, a Piper Executve 1400l! :wow:

who could say no, i know, tough to refuse isn't it?

mind you, one drawback,

although the old piper is a 5 berth, you would be sharing it with Thor, who actually needs at least 2 beds, so your choice is a little more limited than the brochure would have you believe,

and, you'll have to sit very still, and don't make eye contact, he takes eye contact as a challenge to his authority!

shall i book you in?
