There aren't many cars out there as pretty and as quick as a GTA that I could have fitted this in without it hanging out the boot.

I begrudgingly carried a similar weight in old toilet, wall tiles, sink, broken up bath, plasterboard and general many last summer. That dropped the bag wheels well into the arches.

The real pig was 18 bags of compost.

They do hold weight well.

It's the shape of the hatch that catches me out - some things will go in like a charm, others it's like getting a cat through a letterbox! Old V6 was better, roof-box on the rails & bike rack on the towbar...

I have the back seats down in mine most of the time for transporting my mountain bike around.

Having the seats down lowers the centre of gravity as well.

I maybe joking about the centre of gravity comment haha

Yes but when you put the seats down it also moves forward make the front rear bias on the car even worse:lol: not to mention the murray mints in the glove box

I don't abuse my GTA SW is such a way....I have a sacrificial Renault Espace seat out and loads of space, mind you at 22mpg it is as thirsty as the GTA...245bhp helps it keep moving though.
