Lets replace an interior bulb in my car, how hard can it be?

The two rear passenger bulbs are Osram 64111 12V 5W BA9s Halogen Original Line (alfa part 71711050)
and for reference the front interior lights are Osram 64113 12V 10W BA9s Halogen Original Line (alfa part 71716149)

now lets buy some

2 days on the internet and I have finally located them here

http://www.svetila.com/en/manufacturers/osram-12/index-3.html?currency=GBP

has anybody else had the same little problem:eek:

I rang a number of alfa dealers who said they had never or did not now stock the bulbs.

So ordered two of each type from the above supplier.

Sew...If eye get this right The 5W dont have offset pins just the 6W.

Surely the non offset are easy to source?

Athought the 12v 6W have more xrefs than the merc bearing/knuckle.

Correct, and I have put a standard 5w bulb (non halogen) in for the moment but it gives a dim yellowish light:vomit:

Eye see said the blind man.

My eyes are dim and they all look white to me..Even the blue ones.

Now ewe huv me wondering if the 6 I got fur under £5 delivered are halogens now...The Osrams were 2 for £6.
I assumed offsets were halogen/xenon. a noble gas in any case.

Pomeo

Off to rewrite "A bulbs a blulb fur awe that" (To be added usual E&OE apply)

I've got 6 cars and many dozens of all sorts of bulbs.

When an Alfa/FIAT/Citroen bulb goes, it's bound to be a weird one that I don't have in stock.

Inside the 166, I'm now using candles...
