New car.
Available for sale in France without a massive eco tax.
4WD, able to deal with snow, beach and mild off roading.
Comfortable on the autoroutes.
Doesn't have an ugly fat arse.
Hound capable boot.
Nothing over €50K

The Duster is good shout, only €650 ecotax, but it's a bit of a dog on the Autoroute with only 115BHP.

€25800 + 650 = €26450

Skoda Scout, an Octavia wagon with 4x4 bolted on. Not sure its available any more.
