Well, it is with a heavy heart to say that tomorrow I'm leaving Alfa ownership. As usual for me, this will only be temporary I'm sure, until Giulia is bedded in.

My 159 has been absolutely awesome and I'm going to miss him massively.

Whoever ends up with him is a lucky person indeed!

I'll still be dipping in and out of here, and wish you lot all the very best. It's been, and always will be, emotional.

Here's hoping it won't be long. I'd love to give your Alfa a home but it will likely be either over my budget or too high a mileage for my wife to allow lol. Hopefully it goes to a good home, and if not, I'll happily garage her for you and give her a few runs to keep her bedded in!

Really tough decision. Really tough. I'm doing loads of miles currently, and the 159 is on 107,000. Didn't feel right to drive him into the ground, when someone else can get many years out of him.

Until Giulia is established I'm in bandit country and on loan to ze Germans for a couple of years. The grief I'm getting already is astonishing, not least from the Missus!

It's a funny thing, maybe it's just my bias, not sure, but I get to drive loads od different fairly high end cars and none of them give me the sense of occasion like the Alfa. I was a LeMans recently in my Brera, we stopped at a local cafe and much to my surprise a couple of the kitchen staff came out to look at it. They were made up when I let them have a sit in it. It actually made my day. Enjoy your Bmer it is truly a good car.

Yes - very nearly stayed derv too, but the lure of the 6 was too much!
