HI Everyone
I have been told there is a leak in my actuator when my car went in for a service. From the selespeed info page I have gathered that it is expenses all over the world. I've been quoted 1000 pounds...Can anyone give me an indication of how long one would be able to drive with it before replacing. Can I just topup on selespeed oil all the time so that I can save up for the costs in the meanwhile? You have to forgive me If I ask silly questions because I do not know much about the technical stuff.

THanks

Do you know where it is leaking from?

Is it leaking into the gearbox or to the outside?

By the way, there are NO replaceable 'o' rings for the actuator.
I'm affraid to say that there are actually 33 o-rings on the selespeed actuator and all are replacable, but a dealer in the UK will not touch that side, if your local to me then I can take a look and see where the leak is, if it's just oil down the front of the l/h wheel arch then it's probably the oil they put that's been spat out from thier innability to check the level correctly.
