Hi there, I am new and apologies if this has been answered before. I did search and could not find answer.
My LCD digital display (between speedo and revcounter) has developed damaged pixel issue and has a weird pixel shape in the middle - distorts information being displayed.
I'm struggling to find a replacement on-line but have found this
Alfa Romeo LCD display for dead pixel failure repairs
- can anyone advise if it the right part ??
Vehicle details: ***** 147 1.9 JTD 8v 2005 facelift
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks, Phil.

I'm assuming that's not your dash? As its not fooked and revs to 7k!
And in kmh too!
Are they interchangeable? The display, that is? If it is i have a cheaply set of clocks off a 2.0 ts that you can have for £20... Not sure if you can swap them out though..someone with more technical ability than me will be along shortly.. :)

Hi Egon, thanks for the quick reply :) - you are correct that is not my dash. Just nicked the image off the web to show that it is the red display section between the clocks (and not the navigation system display that is on some models). I only need that lcd panel and nothing else. So don't need the clocks or anything else - I have read that the LCD just pops off/on with a blade-connector thingy. Can you confirm that you have that part? how old is the 2.0 ts that it came off?
Will also look out for other responses (if there are any !) - Cheers, Phil.

It is easy to remove that panel once you strip all the covers off it is just in a sprung plastic holder and a ribbon cable that attaches it to the main pcb, have attached a pic, hope it helps a bit.

Thanks everyone for your kind support. I checked the Autulusso web-site and they do seem to have a couple of them. So have emailed them for more details. I've also emailed my local Alfa service specialist to ask for the official Alfa parts catalogue number for it. Maybe I can source a new one if I have that valuable bit of info.....
Egon - please don't spend a lot of time on this right now. I'll get back to you in a couple of days and let you know if I want to buy yours off you or not. Thanks again to all.

Hi Egon, been researching this and have seen other posts suggesting that the display actually improves as the weather warms up!!! Sounds a bit weird, but not too weird when you think that the problem started during the really cold weather a month or so back.......
So I've decided to wait a month or so and see how it behaves. Thanks very much for offering to make one available for me. If my 2-3 month wait does not allow it improve naturally then I may come back to you and take you up on your offer (assuming no-one else has taken it from you). Thanks again, Phil.
