I see they have relaunched the Lambretta...............from China! Yours for £3500.

Having had an SX150, a GP125 and an LI125 I quite fancy another 'classic' one, not one of these new ones, if anyone has one that they fancy selling (must be registered as a 125 though).

My dad always wanted a Lambretta, could never afford one and had a Vespa instead.

He always liked to think he was riding a Lambretta

To be honest I actually think Vespas are prettier and I love the small frame model (very cute)!

He wouldn't let me have a bike because he kept falling off his :( Mind, it's not good being an apprentice mechanical, riding home with your toolbox between your feet........ he ended up having to pick up the bits of his socket set that were all over the road.

My brother has a series 2 LI 125 in his shed.

Fully restored and ready to go. It was a recent Italian import, and hasn't been registered in the UK yet.

Most of the spare parts for them now like switches and lights come from India, and are of very poor quality.

I didn't realise finding a Lambretta was going to be as hard as it is turning out to be, especially up here in the North East, plenty on the South Coast though!

My brothers one came from a Lambretta specialist Cambridge.

Cannot remember the name of the place, but if you Google "Cambridge Lambretta" it should come up.

Still a fair trek, but closer than the south coast.
