Hi guys

ill start with the short one lol, think my MAF is stuffed but i was wondering if a MAF from a 1.6ts would be the same as the one in my 2.5 v6?? they look the same but thats all.

now the bigger problem...i recently had to replace the downpipe on my v6 due to the old one being grounded out on the floor and ruined. i sourced a replacement part from a breaker but when it arrived i noticed the holes for the 2 lambda sensors were in a different place and now the wire on one of the sensors isnt long enough to reach the other hole,
im pretty good with a soldering iron so could i add in a extra section of wire to the sensor to make it reach or does this not work for lambda sensors??

Looks like the v6 one is different. Longer, and more expensive

engine electrical Alfa 156 for Alfa 156

I can't see how adding a bit of wire would be a problem. Make sure it's insulated (maybe some shrink-wrap) to keep it away from dirt and shorting to earth...
seems to be a growing trend that parts are more expensive lol

ill give the lambda a go tomorow...i dont see why it wouldnt work, wire is wire at the end of the day. ill be looking at a expensive alternative otherwise :(
