Why do people insist on putting KR's as a platitude at the bottom of emails as an abbreviation for kind regards?

If people wish to offer kind regards having requested I do something, or having done something for me that's fine. But if there isn't sufficient sincerity behind the expression of kind regards to make it worth the effort of using a couple of seconds of precious time to type out 11 letters and a space, I'd just as rather they didn't bother.

dear mr bloggs,

you owe us £20k in unpaid tax and national insurance, therefore we will be issuing bankruptcy proceedings against you unless you pay the whole lot by 5pm

I would simply reply

FO

Interpretation:

I would really like you to go away immediately and not come back. However, the level of contempt with which I regard you is such that I am not prepared to waste precious seconds of MY life typing out actual words to express this desire.

I used to put 'KRs' on emails, but it was too much to type. Now I just put 'K'.
I use that when responding in agreement to text such as,
"Do you want to go down the bar tonight?"

"K"

Some people accuse me of being a lazy texter.
To which I respond: "Fur-Q!" ;)
