Hi all, when I am rolling to a stop and not using the accelerator I can hear a knocking noise that sounds very similar to a flat tyre noise?

It's coming from the front offside (drivers) of the car....

I am at a loss

Otherwise a bit more detail would help - what engine, spec etc for starters. From what you said, it's speed but not revs related?

Def speed related but it comes and goes which is strange.

Not hit anything and only started today so I can't see it being bent wheels.

New discs all round 1000 miles ago.

Jack the car up, take the wheel off and push/pull all of the suspension arms/joins and the ARB. Either that or something roiling around in your glove box, I lost the holder for my maglight that lives in the glove box and it now is free to role around.

If I grab the OS front strut just below the coil/sping and tug really hard I can feel a knock/movement, NS strut doesn't do this.

I've recently changed upper/lower wishbones, drop links and ARB in an effort to get to the bottom of the knocking. looks now like I need at least a front pair as changing a single spring/damper is a no-no.

Could be just the excuse I need for the Koni FSD/Eibach conversion so many rave about.

I think mine must have been a simple case of under inflated tyres. Just checked them and they were between 24 - 28psi.
