HI everybody and first of all congratulations on such an amazing tech-deep forum!
I have found loads of answers I struggle to get in Italy.

As from the title, I'm coming back to an old topic here. I am not able to pair the keyless/central lock system of my Phase 2 '98 Spider, with an original Alarm.
First of all, I searched an went on using all the infos in these topics:

https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alf...m-keyless-entry-with-andamp-without-code.html

and more in depth:
https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-gtv-andamp-916-spider/28748-gtv-remote-central-locking.html
https://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alf...92497-remote-central-locking-programming.html

(also including the videos)

I have un-mounted the receiver unit and checked the functionality of both the alarm and the unit. They are all in working conditions.
Last but not least I have the original 4 digits codes, that are regularly accepted by the receiver while programming it.

So once the receiver light starts blinking, I'll press the pin once more an then hold the red key's button down as well for 10 sec. The receiver's led will stop blinking and turn solid green. But it will not go off. The result is that the key is not paired and of course the central locking won't work.
I'm thinking now the key might have been for so long out of battery and exposed to high temperatures that for some reasons it has forgotten its own code. Is this a possibility? What am I doing wrong?

hi I'm bumping this up, as also the mechanic I went to is clueless, and I am as well: don't know where the problem is, especially how should I change the key if that's where the problem is.

Hi alastpa, thanks a million for the reply. Yes I studied ther "145 topic" quite a lot and unfortunately that guy is not around the forum, any longer. Still I'll have a look at your topic, hopefully I'll find some tips on the issue :)
