Hi Guys

Posted recently about soldering the little alarm transmitter bulb back in to my key fob. The damn thing has broken off completely now and its only a couple of weeks since it was repaired.

Is it possible to purchase these anywhere. Presume I can't change the internals of the key fob as they will be specific to each car. Is this correct?

Gonna try and repair it again and look at why it is breaking, there must be a lot of movement inside the case

Any advice???

A good eleltronic componet shop should sort you out. There used to be one on the old Sheffield Road, on the left heading towards Chesterfield after the roundabout near halfords/Toyota dealers.

Luckily for me i have a complete set of keys, which includes a lovely unused brand new remote!!!

I won't be selling it though.... well maybe for the right price!
