Sad day.
He was your quirky but very talented director.

Hopefully there is a place ready and waiting for him next to the greats and the good of the industry in Heaven.

Yes, Tommy sprang to my mind too. An eccentric director for sure but truly one of a kind.

I always thought he was older, he seemed to have white hair about 30 years ago!

I also liked 'Crimes of Passion' with Anthony (Psycho) Perkins and Kathleen Turner.
An influence, I think, for David Lynch's 'Blue Velvet' a few years later (and equally batty! :lol: ).
