Years and years ago, Top Gear had an MGB V8 which had been mated with a Land Rover Defender in some God-forsaken laboratory / workshop.

It was freaking awesome. I still want one.

A family member who lives fairly ruralatory (small English hamlet :): ) has one mainly for use in the winter months, and is very satisfied with its performance.

A larger rear wheel drive machine sits in the garage when the Panda (Sisley) iirc ?? is required with its 4wd. :):

My wife had one of the early Pandas (not the 4WD Sisley,) the model that had the rear seat designed as a collapsible hammock, supported by large steel tubes.

She owned it for 12 years, and it was finally sold to a Leicestershire Uni. student who was delighted with their purchase.
