Bought a K&N filter (on impulse)!.... For my 170ma Sprint Speciale, before I read all the horror stories about the oil on the filter messing up the Maf!.... Anybody had one in for a while and can comment?aranoid:

I had one in my Cloverleaf for over a year with no issues.

have bmc on gqv for year now.no problems thus far.took out maf and blasted with contact cleaner last week just in case of any oil deposits

Had K&N on all my cars. Never had an issue through years and thousands of miles. Not sure where all these horror stories come from.
