Hi everyone,
Found this owners club by chance and really glad i did been reading lots of reveiws very interesting ,anyway I have just purchased a 156 GTA from veloces in london after trading in my bmw 323 ci coupe was not sure i was doing the right thing but i am really pleased with the car, the year is 2002 and is silver in colour and has black leather seats and the best bit is it has only done 10,000 miles so the car is virtually new o and one owner, this car is only a week-end car for me and to use if we go on hol anywhere i am still getting used to it very fast car i have just fitted a K&n filter which has made a bit of difference but will not be doing any more mods. I am waiting for a new n/s/r strut for it after having 2 new tyres fitted and noticed the camber of that wheel was leaning in, took it to alfa shop in norwich and they said the strut was very slightly bent they have orderd a new one for me and are doing the work and then have got to have the 4 wheels alined up hav'nt got to pay for this as veloces in london are paying just waiting for the strut to come through it has took 2 weeks so far not very impressed with the wait but theres nothing i can do as i am in ther hands,i don't want to drive the car very far as this will wear the tyre uneven just got to be patient will post some pic of her soon i was told this could be the lowest GTa in the country,

Thanks for reading,
Cheers,
Aharkel!!!!!!!!

Nice one, great car, thirsty though.

Hope you didn't put an oiled K&N on it as this can knacker the MAF. I'm sure all the other GTA owners on here will give you lot's of helpful info.

Welcome to the club :D

Hi Aharkel,

welcome mate! I only registered yesterday and am a very proud GTA owner, too!
MAF means "mass airflow meter" and it measures the amount of air that gets in. It is very sensible to any kind of dirt and especially oil... once it's knackered you will have to replace it coz' it will lead to restricted revving of the engine.
Try and use the search function :)

Enjoy your GTA!
