Alfa members welcome

I have friends! Thanks to all for your welcome, I now have a question for you, I do hope I'm asking this in the right area of the club, if not point me in the right direction. ...........please!
I unfortunately drove my 2011 Giulietta 1.4 TB Veloce into one of our many pot holes in the UK, luckily for me after a wheel removal and thorough check around no damage has been found, I dont know if this is linked to it but my outside temperature on the dash is not giving a reading, only getting this - - . - C .
could the 'bump' of dislodged the sensor? Where will I find it? or have I pressed something inside the car without realising? OR any other ideas?
