I wash the 6 month old 159sw...
and without fail, all four discs jam solid (and I mean solid) the next day.
Even if I remember to go and move it a little later on after washing.

This morning took some serious rocking in 1st gear (yep... lets knacker the clutch) to break it free.
I know the discs rust pretty quick, but its getting a little silly.

Oh, and it was +5 degrees, so they were not frozen.

Anyone else suffer?

The problem is no doubt the pads rusting onto the discs - most pads will do this over time, some pads, particularly if they contain steel (usually in the form of wire wool), will do it very quickly! All I can suggest is that after cleaning it you go for a short drive & brake firmly several times to thoroughly dry the brakes.

Stop the car, put it in gear, let it roll forward till the engine catches it and then put the handbrake on, should limit pad adhesion.

Washed the car yesterday, had a little trouble getting off the drive this morning, nothing more than a "clunk" though.
Didn't move the car after washing and drying though.

The worst used to be my wifes Clio, had drums on the rear, used to lock solid, had to drive up the road with the rears locked!
