:( Triffic

Lavished a bit more care today by starting to repaint the small blemish on the roof, how does it repay me?

Went shopping on the way home, started the car and the airbag light stayed illuminated...I hadn't even moved the seats!

Looking through the service history it has been reset twice before at Veloces, there seem to be yards of yellow sheathed pretensioner cable under the seats, hopefully there will be some random connectors to be chopped out and hard soldered before a *final* reset.

:p At least this car is entertaining, after renewing the seriously loud rear bearings I can now hear the front ones quietly rumbling away too...thats a job for another day though.

:) That was my second thought after "Oh ****" actually

MOT is not till next June so a bit of black tape will be employed for the time being, I've got a list of stuff I actually want to do tinkering wise, and this is going straight to the bottom for now.

I bought the 2nd one on your list ending 274. My only comment would be that my laptop did not like the mini cd the drivers were on. However, once I went indoors it downloaded them off the internet automatically. I am running windows 7. Other than that very easy, the port is behind a plastic cover on the right side of the steering column held by 3 bolts. Once connected it was plain sailing. The seller includes full instructions with the cable. I have a ph2 spider V6.

:) Well progress of sorts despite the rain today...

Grubbed about under the seats and removed the pretensioners plastic connector shrouds to reveal some nice fat bullet connectors whose fit together is not what I would call inspiring.

Tomorrow I am planning to solder them together and cover them with heat-shrink shrouding to prevent any future wobbliness before resetting the system.

 Just PM'd GT Paddy too, top offer chap!

:( See below for offending wires, bah...
