Haha yep the colder damper wweather usually sets it off (unless you have a decent battery of course! (in most cases anyway!)).

Happy VDC system error to everyone. New battery recently fitted, because I'm not in the mood for it this season.

Does this mean my battery has been knackered for the past 3 years?

How come all of a sudden I quite fancy a mince pie? :D

Try a search Marksie - this comes up time and time again and should really be pinned up here on this forum section alongside the MCF error!

Basically though most cases are solved by getting a decent Bosch battery as a direct replacement to the original which is rubbish (underspecc'ed) even when new!

It's not a big enough problem at the minute, I'm usually on a straight with a 40mph limit, when it pops up, so I can do a quick restart on the fly (as long as it's safe to do so), otherwise I just pay more attention until I get to the next junction.
