With my Giulietta almost running again, I will be parking the Gta.
What suggestions are there to cover my car?

My garage has steel gates, and openings instead of windows which allows the wind to carry in dust.

I would prefer not to use the conventional car covers, as it, IMO, leaves dusty micro ''scratch'' marks as the wind moves it around.

I was thinking linen sheets or a very thin and very large blanket?

Ysman, use an internal soft cover, or steal some of your wife's winter sheets, cover the car with that (careful to make sure you cover all the corners end edges, and then use a good external cover that fits tight..... I even put an old sleeping bag (fully open) on the roof, and then the exterior cover, but that is mostly to give my cats a nice soft spot to sleep on :cheese:
This is for my Junior.

The Sud is in a fully closed Garage, and I do not have a good Internal cover for it, but since I do not need to worry about wind, a good External cover is good enough.....

I also have internal covers for the 156 and 159, spend the money and get them (I know they cost a bit....... watch this space, I also have a bit of a sideline going ;) )

The covers Frost use are brilliant, but he does not need to worry about exterior covers, his garage is big enough for his cars, so the internal covers are more than ample to keep the dust away.

Thx guys, got some ideas now.
No, won't be fitting windows, cause I'm renting.

Car covers I have tried were even XXL and it still did not extend further than the side skirt. But the front and back of the cover hung on the ground....go figure...

Maybe I must try a cover for a Suv.

Its cheap considering a respray is 20k plus, and most other covers scratch the paint as u put them on and then chafe through the corners of the car as the wind tugs at it, but hey some people just dont think their cars are worth that much(2k is one percent of a R200 000 car:rolleyes:)
