I'm going up to Skye in a weeks time, in the Alfa all being well :) Never been there before, but always wanted to go, so I thought I'd ask if any of you guys have any advice on things to do or things to see whilst I'm there?

I don't want to go all the way there and back again and find out there's something good I've missed out on. It's a 10 hour drive each way from here

Skye is a wonderful place. Here's some suggestions.

Walk up to the Old Man of Storr - the landscape is amazing.

Go to Elgol on the west coast to see sunset over the Cuillins.

Go to the lighthouse at Neist Point on the north-west coast.

Have fish and chips from the chippy at Portree Harbour.

Take lots of midge repellent.

Chill out and enjoy!

Have stayed in the cottages at Neist Point Lighthouse.............wow what a location, spent 2 days there in mid summer and it was horizontal rain the first day

Also went to see the seals at Dunvegan Castle.......kids really enjoyed it :D

Love the West Coast
