just thought i'd ask you guys, dropped by Alfa Technico today to diagnose a knocking and creaking from the front of my car, turns out need an off side top wishbone and nearside ARB drop link, have been quoted £140 + VAT for the parts and the labour is this a decent price, seems fair enough to me, also get a free courtesy car to allow me to get to work and back too?

Seems reasonable to me, as long as they're using genuine Alfa parts, not cheapo replicas that tend to last 5 minutes.

service costs seem reasonable too, 72k service including cambelt, £327 seems pretty good to me

Yep looks about right to me. Is the courtesy car a Punto still? Lewis is a genuine bloke and wouldn't bulls**t you. Say hello to him from Graham. I've not been there for a while due to behaving cars

i'm not sure about the car, won't complain if it is though had one before nice cars to drive, seems to know his stuff though, took a quick 5 min test drive and he was able to diagnose it just by listening to the specfic noises, very impressed so far

ahhh, lol very true, although i'm slightly concerned if his garage requires the use of scuba gear on a rainy day, not quite sure the old 156 is gonna work too well in those conditions,

Sorry guys, last nights posting was slightly lager induced!

Yep, i trust Lewis to do a good job at a fair price plus he's only five minutes away from where i live.

He is indeed a fellow Scuba diver though!
