Laz, You really do have to read the structions.
You probably have to set your iPod to act as an external disc drive, which you do in iTunes as explained in the book in the iPod section, some way on in the media section.
Once done there is a pause whilst a library is set up.
Read through the paragraphs to learn how to use voice commands after pressing the windows logo button. You can use commands such as artists, albums and genres. I couldn't work out why the command was repeated back to me but nothing was displayed on the radio. Eventually I noticed it comes up on the display seen through the steering wheel, as an alphabetical scroll through, scrolled via the steering wheel buttons. The only command that won't work is playlists, as iTunes playlists are incompatible with Windows based B&M.
If the same track keeps repeating there is a remedy command, something like track loop off (check that), and if tracks are played sequentially,
the shuffle command will give you random playback.
Hope you've found all this out by now but thought I'd input it for any new readers with a start-up problem.
