Kinda got blown away by this app last night.:bounce:

It's avaliable on the app store for all iphone users. And it's free(Titled Rev)

The application released by Devtoaster
allows the owners of iphones to view the following on their iphone.

Built in Metrics

Acceleration - Gforce monitor
GPS Track - Track the forward and braking speeds

OBD Metrics

Vehicle Speed
RPM
Fuel Consumption
Engine coolant Temp
Fuel Pressure
Calculated Engine Load
Throttle Position
Intake Manifold Pressure
Air Intake Temp
Timing Advance
Mass Air Flow
Fuel Level
Barometric Pressure
EVAP Pressure
Fuel Trim (Short B1)
Fuel Trim (Long B1)

Callibration - Allows you to place the iphone where ever in the car and callibrate it to that position

At the moment you are only able to use the Built in metrics - And ive gotta say they work amazingly. Tried it on my brothers elise who has an on board g force display, and the iphone was exactly the same.

They will be releasing the wireless hardware for plugging into the car over the next month or so. - Can't Wait!!!!

Here are a few you tube videos of it in action.

Just wanted to say, I'm not knocking the rev lite software, if it delivers everything it says it can when the WLAN ODB Gizmo comes out and fits my car i'll definitely fork out the cash to 'upgrade' to the full version.

A little off topic perhaps..
but the mapmyrun website have released a nice free application for the iphone which maps your jogging run, shows your speed etc, and saves it back to your account on mapmyrun.

Nice one for anybody who runs, and wants to measure the distance of a route etc.

The app is called iMapMyRun.

This looks cool, what's the betting that it turns out to be too expensive.

How do I find out what type of OBD port my 146 has, OBD I or OBD II ?

Cheers
