Is it just me then that can't get the iPhone to work. It connects then disconnect almost straight away. Haven't managed a single call. Old phone worked fine all the time.
Car is an 07 Brera.. the one where the USB is usefully hidden behind the radio. Not interested in playing music from the iPhone, I've got an adaptor for an iPod that takes care of that. Any ideas?

Update the B & M firmware to 5.4

Easy to do & plenty of threads on here for you to look at.

Get a proper phone?

:p

Seriously though, you've got the Bluetooth only kit and to my knowledge
(I did try installing the B&M SMS Reader) it doesn't accept B&M updates
of any kind.

The USB connector behind the stereo is supposed to be for updates
but Alfa haven't made any available that I know of. :(

Thanks Nev. So the 5.4 update that's mentioned everywhere else is irrelevant? Might have to be a hands free gadget of some kind.

No it's not. As I said, the 5.4 update via a blank USB stick will cure you Bluetooth problems, assuming the port is live that it?

Simon, I tried loading B&M updates such as the
SMS reader and language changes onto the Brera's Bluetooth
system.

They would not not load.

The WinCE version is different between Bluetooth
and Blue&Me.

I tried hacking the .inf file but even that
didn't work.

The only thing I can suggest is to delete all pairing
info from phone and car and try repairing.

iPhone bluetooth is pretty rubbish unfortunately.

He's stuck with the version installed. To my knowledge.
