Hi all. Bit of a re-introduction here really, Joined AO in `08 but haven't been active as I didn`t have the Alfa too long before it died!

My name is Andy, I live in Whitley Bay and work as a Night Manager for Sainsbury`s. My daily driver is a BMW 325ci which I have owned for 14 years, but have had Alfas off and on for a long time. The first was a new 156 1.8 T.S Veloce, then a 155 1.8 widebody, a 156 2.4 JTD Veloce, and I have just purchased a Blue 1997 155 2.0 T.S (I got it from the guy in Durham who had the Black Busso and Tarquini tribute for sale) and I also have a 1977 Escort Ghia.

I plan to do a few small mods to the 155, I`ve just managed to get hold of a set of Black Speedlines and a lowering kit off ebay, and will probably look for a spoiler and do a bit of cosmetic work for now. I`m hoping to get across to some of the meets this year as well (work permitting)

Hi Andy, and welcome to AONE.
Be great to see you at one of the meets, and good to see a 155, not many kicking around this neck of the woods.

See you soon:thumbup:

Please help me AO..you're my only hope!

Hi...just accidentally on purpose bought an Alfa GT offa eBay....I love it...had a 145 clover when I was a teen and have embraced midlife crisis with this impulse buy....it was cheap...54 plate..138k miles...£800....engine light on..airbag light on...howling/vibration coming from front end at 50+ mph...handles well tho and no squeaks or knocks...engine seems good..really kicks in at 3000-3500rpm...black smoke puffs when pedal put down hard...exhaust blowing from front end.....sooooo. What I'm after is a reliable service centre in the north east...im in whitley bay....that won't take my eyes out...I don't think it's a lemon and I have a budget to sort it out...(famous last words!)...I've searched the threads on here and it seems BMC was the last great hope for Alfa owners in the north east...so who's the best around today??? All help/insults will be taken onboard Cheers Jon c

Quicksale Sports and Performance (QSP) in Ferryhill. Very knowledgeable friendly and reasonably priced,
Ask for Simon (owner) or Justin (chief mechanic - Alfa time served)
Bit of a drive for you but worth the effort
