Hi all,

I've searched around in the forum but can't seem to find the answer to my question.

I've just got a 2001 147 1.6, and when I go around left hand bends (perhaps a little faster than normal!) the brake fluid level warning light comes on. As soon as I straighten out it goes away.

There doesn't seem to be any fade from the brakes at the time, but it's usually at the apex of the corner, so I'm off the brakes by then anyway.

I've checked the brake fluid level and it's fine.

Is this one of those 'quirks' that should make my smile?!

Thanks

If the levels are ok then it could be a dodgey level indicator (take it out and fiddle with it a bit) or possibly a dodgey brake wear indicator wire - they never last 100M outside to the showroom on any car!
