Trial and error really! I replaced a bit of my wood as it had had extra toggle switches in it at some time and I just kept varnishing it until it matched the rest. It should have quite a dark finish to it but mine has all faded over the years, so I just finsihed my new bit to match the faded originals! You can see on the old bit how much darker it is round the edges.
I had my car up on a ramp today, and although the car seems to drive fine, there is an alarming amount of play in the inner tie rods. I've removed one, and the Inner thread is M12, and the outer is M14. I've searched moog, and thiers are both M14 at each end, so is there another catalogue I can...
