Can someone tell me what the metal fastenings are called that attach the rubber sleeves to the intake manifold and intake runners on a v6 engine.

Also what is the tool called to undo them and re-fit them.

They are Clic R hose clamps and you can buy a plier that is designed to open them and refit them.

Its called an Clic R plier and they work a treat. Some come with a Clic or a Clic R function.
