Just wanted to mention the excellent work that Inta Services carried out on my car. For those of you in Leicester or in the Midalnds you have probably heard/used them. They offer excellent friendly service. Dom and Dave are friendly and knowledgable, can't reccommend them highly enough.

I have used them for many years but they don't usually get a mention here. They are definatly "up there" with the other Alfa specialists Jamie Port, Autolusso etc

I was travelling around Leicester in my 916 Spider in the summer and my airbag light came on.

I spoke to John Griffiths the Section Secretary for C & E Midland AROC and he suggested that I contact Inta Services.

I dropped in uxepectedly on them explained what had happened and that I was not from the area and because of this reason I would be unlikely to use them in the future but could they help me.

They stopped what they were doing, came out with their diagnostic kit, plugged it into the car, pointed out what had caused the fault, reset the light and then tried very hard not to charge me.

How about that for service!!:)

It made my day.

It also made me wish that I could repay the favour sometime and travel down if I needed work doing on my Alfas.

There are a lot of great Alfa indies.

In the North West I can recommend Gus at AlfaTune in St Helens and Ferdi of Ferdi's Garage near Blackpool.

Who's Dom:lol:

They always get a mention here from me (there's a long post with pictures in the recommended independent garages sticky in GAD) and usually get a mention from stacks of people when an "any garages in Leicester" question gets asked.

Autousso tend to look after the GT but they look after my Ti and always do a fantastic job:cool:

I've heard only fantastic reports about these guys. Highly recommended by everyone who's used them. I'll be going there when my Brera goes out of warranty.

Normally I use Motorvogue in Northampton, but due to numerous problems with them I tried Sturgess in Leicester. Surprisingly they fixed my car and gave me good service!! What a difference a dealer makes! 10000 times better than Motorvogue, Sturgess gets a thumbs up from me as well.

I figure one of those was me then:p

I've mentioned Inta Services before.... I guess there's no harm in giving them the big thumbs up  once more. Don & Dave have always given excellent service - I've prob' got 1 service at Sturgess on the 'new' 159 before I can take the beastie into them (dealer warranty) but they'll be seeing the co-pilot's 147 at some point.

I reckon my 2.4 JTDm 156 had 7 or 8 services there in the 3yrs of ownership  and always thought the advice with 'advises' was good and not a pushy. Even the AA guy (out to the co-pilot's TR7) recommended Inta Services when he saw the Alfa's on the drive.

My car is under warranty and always goes to Intaservices. You don't have to use a dealer for a new car you know;)

It's a dealer warranty so I think I have to; the 156 I had before had 1 dealer service (half price agreed at purchase) but the next 3 that I had while under warranty were all done by Inta Service.

The dealer warranty is year 3 but it's still honoured if an Indy service it. Never had an issue with any of our Alfa's:)

If it actually needs work doing, a dealer must do it but it's FOC:thumbs:

I went here the other week and they were all very helpful and very friendly. I’m quite glad they are on my door step as my new beloved 147 has a few more problems than first thought.

Hi All,

Does anyone know if Intaservices are still running - I've used them in the past and they've been fantastic but I've tried calling and dropping a few emails in the past few weeks and can't seem to get through. Anyone got any ideas?

I spoke to them a couple of weeks ago, so I presume they're still there.
Are you using the correct phone number 01162510899.
