Hi guys looking at moving to Ireland and bringing my 2003 156 gta with me to co Waterford

I've heard insuring the car might be an issue as if it's age it's only done 60k and in good condition

Also any ideas where I could get this serviced

There are a few insurance companies who no longer want to insure 15+ year old cars, but you should still be able to find companies who will, there does seem to be a lack of insurers who will insure modified cars over here though.

Road tax is also going to be expensive, it's €1809 per year for the 3.2

As for servicing, have a look here http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/republic-of-ireland/360147-alfa-dealer-andamp-independent-recommendations-in-republic-ireland-online-suppliers.html
If I had a GTA I'd contact here & ask to speak to Paul the Alfa specialist:

It'll be great to see a gta cruising around Waterford. Where you moving to?
There's a mechanic in New Ross which is 8 miles from Waterford City. Pat is his name and he used own a gta.
He's on the Italian Car forum Ireland. You'll probably track him there.

Insurance shouldn't be a problem once you've already had the car insured before.
