Investigating this thouroughly it would almost be impossible to carbon fibre wrap the lower spoiler trying to get the curved lines.

I think plastidip is the only other alternative at least you can mask off a curved edge. Im going to try that now - wish me luck ...

If anyone knows where I can just buy that as a spare part that would be even easier

Finally got my new grille on the Giuly :D Looks so much better I think for the style I'm going for. Removing the bumper was easier then I tought it would be and putting it back on a bit more tricky. Biggest problem was removing two of the screws holding the grille. They where so tight I had to pull out the metal "cap" they are screwed inside to if that makes sense.

Time wise I worked for 2 days with the car but not just with the grille :hehe:

Nice one !

Well I dont know how to duplicate it otherwise unless you have any other ideas ?
Ebay do 8 or 10mm adhesive moulding, would do the trick and then do the top of the rear valance too..
I thought the same as Que yesturday, when you pull away the tape there will be a step ever side of the red strip..
Just paint it and add the red moulding over the top. ?

The German thread on Alfisti I posted a while back had a chap who added some type of red 3M tape iirc to mimic the new model.

I think it was the black G with the new grill and red tape:

If you can't find it I can fish it out when I'm in my laptop.

Well I have started painting so lets see how it turns out first. I can also look at the 3M tape as well. Probably pull the tape off on Friday when on Easter break. Hope it looks ok.

This is amazing I would have started using this if I had known. Took alot of time and effort to mask out that little red strip ...

Here's the thread:

https://www.alfisti.net/alfa-forum/alfa-giulietta-940/120096-facelift-scudetto.html

The chap with the Black G mentions that he used 3M tape. It was asked twice, where he got it from, but he never ended up replying.

One of the guys in the last 2 pages has an EZ Lip spoiler.

Also, they managed to retrofit the newer type lower honeycomb vents into the bumper, but by enlarging holes and using glue.

Not sure how good a job google translate will do, but considering it's sister-language German it should make sense.

I personally am only going to stick to acquiring a new matt chrome scudetto, probably with old-style badges allround.
