Hi, apologies if I'm asking that age old question in regard to warning lights. Had the misfortune on Monday to have to go through a flooded road. Drove slowly, came out no problems, drove home. Started the car a few hours later and teh injector light was illunminated after starting. Drove the car and stopped a few miles later. Car wouldn't start, turned over okay. Called the RAC, they said crank sensor. He unplugged an injector lead and bingo it started, but with the fans running. After a while the injector light extinguished.

So I now have from cold an injector light and fans running (limp home mode?). Unplug the fan and get up to temp and the injector light goes out. It doesn't mis, pulls well etc. Any ideas? before I spend wads of money. Thanks,

Hi all, problem fixed. There was a audible relay click when the injector light went on or off. Traced it to one of the three red relays on the drivers front wing. Cleaned the terminals and all was sorted.

Can anyone tell me what the red relays are for?
