Hey guys, im wondering if anyone can help...
Ive had the fuel injection warning light on for a while and my idle has been playing up, takin a long time to settle and stalling.. Recently took to an alfa specialist who couldnt get the diagnostic computer to communicate with the car, i know it could be many different things, lamda, coolent temp sensor, air flow etc etc. However my problems mainly occur when the weather is very cold.. i was wondering if anyone knows if this would suggest any particular problem more that the other possbilities??

Unfortunatley im a student again at uni so money is tight, thats why im on here so i get hopefully cure the right problem first time :D

Thanks all!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks jimybob... i was just wondering if anyone knows of the best place to get a new temp sensor, maybe lamda? ive seen lamdas in auto shops a lot cheaper than the alfa dealers. can i get a water temp sensor from a non alfa source too, or is it fairly cheap anyway? i read in another post someone got one for £17, is that an alfa dealer price?

sorry for all the questions! i shall get on the phone tommora and do some enquiring...

Cheers :)

Word of warning, someone here (forget who, sorry) bought an aftermarket water temp sensor and it didn't give the proper reading. Think the Alfa one is about £25 (from memory).
