Spent the weekend doing some homework on replacing the pipework between the ail filter and engine. But I have a question. I have a CF1 engine and there is an air sensor (?) which goes into the 90degree section on top on the MAF. Anyone have any idea of size of this sensor? (18mm??)

Reason being, that I have the internal pipe diameter (76mm) and found a alloy replacment pipe with a take off which I can use for the sensor but no idea (apart from trying to measure from the outside - too cold yesterday) of the actual size. The pipe is 15cm length which will do the job and lets me replace most of the piping :)

Thanks for any info in advance.

I swapped one of these sensors yesterday. It's a pretty tight fit - the internal diameter is about 10mm, at a guess.

I've still got the old hose, so I can measure it properly later.

Cheers Ian, the pipe I've been looking at has two adapters but wanted to make sure otherwise, I'd kept the original 90 degree from top of maf and just replace the piece in the middle where the chamgers are attached :)
