I can highly recommend this recently opened Alfa/Fiat specialist in Hampshire.

He found out why my nearside front suspension has been clunking after my local main dealer failed.
What was the clunking?

There have been a few posts in other threads about similar sounds and people asking for advice

Thanks AHM!

Thanks to John and the team at AHM. Got me in a very short notice for cam belt and associated gubbins on my 159, gave the car a very good once-over and completed a few other small repairs, all completed quickly and for a reasonable cost, and lent me a Punto for the day. Thanks guys!

Big Thanks to Dan at Autolusso Penrith, while on holiday my Alfetta developed a blow in the exhaust, Dan kindly fitted me in for a pitstop as I was in the area and kept me going with a temporary weld, Top Man

Jim, have you tried Turin Motors in Leeds, I am probably after new discs and pads (front) for a Brera 2.2 S, the guy down there seemed to know his stuff and be friendly and a decent price, anyone got any good or bad to say??
A bit late in the day but Turin Motors did a very quick repair replacing rear shock absorbers after a nasty pothole incident. Chris is a real Alfa enthusiast, knowledgeable and friendly. Price was very fair and I'll certainly use them again.

Another big thanks and a hearty recommendation fo Alfanatics in Fleet, I have used them a few times for bits and bobs and have alays found them hugely knowledgable and very fair,Proper Alfa enthusiasts!

The job in question was the master cylinder on my GTV 2.0 TS ,downpipes were also replaced at the same time as found to be unservicable...the car has done a few hundred miles since and is changing gear smoothly and positively with no pedal to the floor incidents.

Its a pig of a job and I am grateful Stuart was happy to do it. Price was very fair and as ever the lads there are a pleasure to deal with.

highly recommended garage..

ProAlfa, Watford situation?.....Any other recommendations for a garage in the area

Hi,
I am a newbie to the Forum.
I have used ProAlfa in Watford for many years to service and undertake a few mods to my 2.4 Brera. It looks as though Chris has sold up and I am now unsure whether they are still trading as they shop seems uncontactable
Can anyone recommend another garage in the NW London area. I need the subframe re-powder coating and upper wishbones replacing at this point.

Many thanks,

Oakerz

Guys. A bit of a long shot as me and a Italian car mad friend were talking about our youth. Does anybody kindly remember the name of the Italian car specialist that used to be at Holmethorpe industrial estate near Redhill, Surrey, just off the A23.??

Just a quick recommend for Bianco Auto Developments in Smallfield Surrey (very close to Gatwick). They did my cambelt and waterpump on the GT a few weeks ago, and were a pleasure to deal with. Really competitive pricing, friendly and even let me have a courtesy car whilst the work was being done.
Well done chaps!

Hello

I swear by Keith Waite in Golders Green - K and L Autos.

He looks after my 115 Spider and my 156 GTA Selespeed. Both are in tip top order. His prices are reasonable and he actively dissuades me from spending money I don't need to spend. He has a long-standing loyal following - I meet people who have been going to him for twenty years. He also races Alfas so knows a fair bit about tweaking them:).

Does he deal with body work issues? I have some corrosion underneath my '99 T-reg 156 2.5 V6 I need dealt with by someone competent and reasonably priced as close to central London as possible.

Thanks in advance!

Has anyone used AlfaTek at Whitley Bridge recently?

I had Gareth at Northern Alfa diagnose a mechanical failure of the multiair unit but when I rang this morning I found he was on holiday until next week and likely to be booked up until late August and I could do with an alternative in case it cannot be fitted in before the Europe trip.

One advantage of AlfaTek could be that, according to their website, they are prepared to pick up and return from Scunthorpe which has to be better than being dropped off by Gary in Tickhill to kill four or five hours somehow.

Sorry, just spotted this. He has a good working relationship with both a welder-type operation and a paint shop. I just hand the problem, whatever it is, over to him and he ensures it's sorted.

For those of us in the Bristol area, I can deffo recommend Duncan at:

Alfa Net
95-97 Fishponds Road
Bristol
BS5 6PN

Tel: 0117 952 0444
Mob: 07977 074325

He's just repaired my son's 147 1.6 TS after a cambelt breakage and did a 60k service on my 147 2.0 TS (and got it MOT'd). Still got change out of a grand for all that.
Duncan's number is now 07968488942

Autolusso Penrith

A thumbs-up to Dan at Autolusso Penrith for great service yesterday. My 156 1.8 TS was in for a cam belt change and had plugs and a badly cracked auxilliary belt changed at the same time. The car certainly had a spring in its step on the drive back to Scotland. Excellent advice also given on the various suspension jobs which will need doing sooner or later. Dan kindly lent me his diesel 156 to use while the work was being carried out.

In car electrics, St Anne's, Lancashire. Sorted my wiring faults and body control module. Very reasonable price, fast, professional and explained everything.

Highly recommended.
