Hi Guys,

I have a massive problem. i changed the housing on my keyfob yesterday ( the black 2 button version) on my alfa 156 TI 2005 and now the immobiliser is locked on.

Is there a way of sorting this out or is it a trip to the dealer that is needed.

Anyone know anyone in Cork that can assist?

Did you remember to transfer the immobiliser chip as well - it is black (IIRC) and the size of a large rice grain and NOT attched to the circuit board - someone put pictures of it on the forum a few weeks ago.

I do not think that there is a specific place for it, however it must be close enough for the system to detect it.
