2001 156 1.8 T Spark cut out twice today then restarted, getting codes P0 301 AND PO 304
Which mean ignition failure on cylinder 1 and 4 anyone know a fix for this,as it's intermitment I reckon it's gonna be a ***** to find.

Misfire on cylinders 1 and 4 P0301 is cylinder 1 and P0304 is cylinder 4. might want to check the leads.

Mine did thhe same a while back, kept cutting out then after a minute or so it would start, one day it wouldn't start for ages.

Turned out to be the crank sensor?

Is the crank sensor a big job??

Not a big job, but not easy as the sensor is on the back of the engine. Held in place with an allen bolt iirc
