a neighbour's friend turned up in one of these at the weekend. i'd never seen one before and had no idea what it was. hadn't even heard of them before.

so.... what is it? bonus points if you know what it's based on

I believe it's designed by Richard Oakes, who was at the Royal College of Art with Ian Callum and his final year project was the Mini Midas.

Kit car, GTM Libra. Most GTMs were Mini/Metro based IIRC but that was a bit bigger than the others and I can't remember whether it moved to Fiesta or other Ford bits. Damn, it's annoying!
