Had a crack at swapping out the ICS unit in the Beast yesterday.
Nightmare!
Too traumatic to detail it but interestingly all speakers are working now so I think the other unit
rather than the wiring was faulty. Still no tape or CD....
Managed to slightly damage the air flow management bit and disconnect the Parrot kit!
And the surround panel is different on this unit so I need to source that....
Also appears that the manual function isn't working re the airflow but I think the air conditioning is blowing coldish again.

The joys of electrics eh?

PS I am a complete gombeen/amateur when it comes to this stuff..... (Disclaimer)

Does anyone have a diagram/photo with labels etc of the back of the ICS unit?
I'm guessing I will have it out again so I'd love to know what goes where etc.
I can't figure out why the tape deck and CD player aren't outputting.
And why the Sat Nav is looking for a code - never did it before.
Unless they are 'paired' with the ICS unit?

Whats different about the surround panel? You can swop them over if required.

Paul.O thanks for the Word doc - spot on.
I'll try figure out what's going on now.
Re the surround there's a subtle difference between the two.
The original one has two 'sliders' at the top to go into two little 'valleys.'
The replacement unit doesn't have the valleys so it won't slide on properly.
I'll try source the right one (the replacement ICS came without I'm almost sure.)
Thanks again lad
