The ICS on a car I sold recently(2000 166 2.5 V6 24V) has just blown it's fuse. The fuse was replaced and didn't blow again.

BUT the system will not let the code be re-input.

The screen with code input comes up OK but the cursor stays on number 4 and turning the right hand rubber knob does not have any effect, therefore the correct code cannot be entered.

I have tried disconnecting the battery to reset the system but no joy there.

Anyone else had a problem similar? Is there another way to reset the ICS?

Or is it broken!

I have carefully extracted the unit and I have a chap who is going to attempt repair. If it's just a faulty button he may be able to do it!
