I'd hope it stands for honest. Describing you own opinion as 'humble' is kind of suggestive that you don't really think it is, if you see what I mean. A bit pretentious.
I try to stick to IMO, after all, what extra info does the H really impart?

Humble - presumably from the days when irony was fashionable.

Paul.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was trying to say.

I'd always taken it to be "humble" - for exactly the reason that it is slightly cheeky. More polite than saying "you're wrong" though ;)

Humble....I use it to mean that it is really my opinion and open to discussion, and not gospel.

No sarcasm intended.

Humble, and without sarcasm, in the same way as saying "with all due respects" isn't being sarcastic.

Though that can be taken as sarcastic and patronising too...depending on the context :D

I always though "with all due respect" was usually followed by something quite offensive and lacking in respect of any kind :D ;)
A bit like people who say "I'm not racist, but...", you know that what follows is going to be the most bigotted, vitriolic slur you've heard in your life!
