ok ok ok so i made a huge ****** up. i ran out of diesel. Ive fueled up now and all is ok , well...................however, my air bag light is now fully on! ( the red one ) and engine managment light - any suggestions?

yes, buy a KKL interface from ebay & software, read the codes & clear them.

the engine codes may clear themselves after 3 successful restarts & full warm ups.

you will have faults loogged in ecu mainly fuel pressure code .after so many engine start cycles if fault not there it will extinguish

fellas, I checked with my FiatECUscan and had the following error. -

The ECU indicates a defect in the internal components. Verify that the ECU receives interference free power and has a solid ground connection. Clear the code, test drive the vehicle and ensure that the code does not reappear
The reason for this fault is Unknown / Internal error
The current status of the fault is Intermittent / Present
The error counter value is 128

It also wont let me delete the fault.

Any ideas?

disconnect your battery and reconnect it and then read your codes


ps have you connected to correct ecu software in FES do a system scan and see what it says then connect to that one to be sure before you do above

Ok,....Ive tried the battery disconnection, I have again tried to reset on FES but the error wont clear.

Its driving me nuts!!

Any more ideas?
