Hi Guys,

Got really rusty wheel nuts on my 156 and read a post on here a while ago on covering them up with chrome facias like below.

Anyone on here used these as never seen them fitted before and scared that they will get stuck/fused on and if one day i get a flat tyre ill be knackered.

Its either this or buy new bolts.

the covers should be ok, i have had similar covering the locking nut for years and they come off ok

Just whack some silver smoothrite on them. Easy, cheap, and looks a hell of a lot better than blingy chrome covers.
Do a search on here for rusty nuts and you'll see plenty of details.

I second Bazza - I took all mine out, sanded them down, applied some rustite stuff and then sprayed some silver paint over them - looks the dogs...
