Nice. My Dad had one as a family car when I was a little kid. It used to get four of us in quite nicely, Mum, Dad, my brother, and me. Bit of a pain to get in, but once in it was ok.

I remember being in the car ready to go one day when we all smelt burning. Dad jumped out and checked the tiny engine in the boot which was smoking away happily. He ran into the house before returning with a saucepan of water and tipped it over the engine. All was well and good, and we went on our merry way after.

Happy memories of that tiny little car :)

 All brought a smile to my chops.:D

rgwm definitely used to co-drive Steve Jay's Imp before moving to a Sud Sprint. Don't know if he still dabbles as his business involves breaking Alfas.

I had a 998 Imp myself (TNA 141K) and loved it to bits. Unreliable little fecker it was too.

I thought that was a Lotus Cortina chased by a Ford Anglia.
You thought right.

What's the pale blue car sandwiched between the two Imps?

Another Mk1 Cortina. And BTW, the blue Imp at the back is too old to have the chrome strip across the front panel. That was fitted to the facelifted Imp Super, from 1970 onwards. My dad had an H reg Imp Deluxe (base model) that was our local dealers first facelift demo, she was called Teaky, coz her registration was TKE987H, I was given her by my aunt as my first car. My dad also had an Imp Super JKL950L and my mum had several older ones over the years.... Cracking little cars. We used to fold the back seat down and sleep in the back as kids....

Am I sad?

Cool, I'm a bit of an anorak (maybe I have an OCD) when it comes to identify cars, I once identified a mk2 escort that hit and run my dads car, just from the bits of broken rear light it left behind!
